The first part of the workshop, held on 24-25 June 202 in Beijing, proved to be a success in mainstreaming the green development concept in overseas investment and financing. To follow up on the momentum, part 2 is also co-hosted by BRI International Green Development Coalition (BRIGC), Beijing Institute of Finance and Sustainability (BIFS) and ClientEarth on 21-22 December 2021. This time it will focus on the opportunities and challenges arising from the BRI green and low-carbon development, the role of green finance in supporting and guaranteeing the construction of the Green Silk Road, and the synergy between BRIGC and Green Investment Principles (GIPs).
