Green Growth and Green Recovery through the Circular Economy in Kazakhstan – Recommendation on the Circular Economy Action Options in a Focus Sector and the Financing Options for implementation

Main project features are the provision of recommendations on Circular Economy and green finance options for one selected sector or value chain in Kazakhstan in order to identify sector-specific circular economy opportunities, their impacts/benefits, financial barriers to adoption, institutional arrangements needed for policymaking, and include green finance options that support effective implementation of the Circular Economy Action Options in Kazakhstan. Position held: Construction Sector Expert, Activities performed: Sector-specific assessment for circular economy opportunities and technologies for the construction sector/value chain, and demolition and construction waste, management processes, and their legislative framework. This project is in its final stage of preparing the Final Report “CE Action Options in the Focus Sector and the Financing Options for Implementation.”
