Research interests

Dr. CohenMiller is a qualitative research methodologist who examines issues of social justice and equity. She uses arts-based approaches to encourage participant voice, as a means for analysis, and also to present results to reach a larger audience. Dr. CohenMiller’s research focuses on issues of gender in higher education and the workplace and on improving teaching and learning in preK – higher education contexts. Dr. CohenMiller is also Co-Founding Director of The Consortium of Gender Scholars, Founder of The Motherscholar Project, and Editor-in-Chief of Dialogue: The Interdisciplinary Journal of Popular Culture and Pedagogy.
