Aigerim Yergabulova joined the Graduate School of Business as a Postdoctoral Scholar in October 2021. She received her PhD in Economics from KU Leuven, Belgium. Her research interests lie in the area of Applied Microeconomics, in particular within fields of Labor Economics, Applied Industrial Organization, and International Trade. Her doctoral thesis is centered around the analysis of the role of firm heterogeneity in aggregate outcomes. Her research also focuses on firm dynamics and globalization, and micro foundations of macroeconomic fluctuations.
