Ali Ait Si Mhamed is an Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Education. Dr. Ait Si Mhamed obtained his MSc. Ed. At D’Youville College, Buffalo, NY, USA and Ph.D. in Comparative and International Education Finance from the State University of New York at Buffalo, NY, USA.
Dr. Ait Si Mhamed worked as a Language Instructor at Leuphrate K-12 School, Ouarzazate, Morocco, a Language and Cross-cultural Instructor at U.S. Peace Corps, Morocco, and an Instructor of Classical Arabic, Buffalo, NY. He held positions of an Interpreter/Translator in International Institute, Buffalo, NY and High School French Teacher at St. Mary’s High School, Lancaster, NY. Mr Ait Si Mhamed served as a grant coordinator at D'Youville College, Research Assistant at University at Buffalo an Assistant Professor at Canisius College, Buffalo, NY, as well as a consultant with the World Bank, and an Assistant Professor of Research and Statistics at Riga International School of Economics and Business Administration (RISEBA). Currently along with teaching Mr Ait Si Mhamed works as Reviewer for International Journal of Education Policy and Leadership, Reviewer for Baltic Journal of Economics, Research coordinator with the Center for International Comparative Higher Education Finance and Accessibility: Ford Foundation funded project at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and Reviewer for Association for the Study of Higher Education (ASHE). He worked also as the chair of the Department in the Standard 4 Committee for National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), Director of the National Council for Accreditation. His main areas of interest includes higher education finance and accessibility, language policy and internationalization of higher education.
