1) Kazakh Sign Language Recognition 2) Kazakh Sign Language Generation 3) Multilingual Text-to-Speech Voice Engine for Robot Speech Perception and Generation 4) Adaptive Learning of Latin Script: Kazakh Language Handwriting Recognition and Spellchecking 5) Adapting to One's Learning Style using Learning by Demonstration and Reinforcement Learning 6) Reciprocal Peer Tutoring for Long-term Child-Robot Interaction All projects have funding, occasional travel to partner sites (EPFL, Switzeland, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia, University of Bergen, Norway) and participation in the top conferences will be required.
