Research interests
Research Interests: Computer vision, image processing, machine learning, deep learning, and data mining.
His research interests are broadly in the areas of computer vision, machine learning, deep learning and data mining. He is particularly interested in probabilistic approaches and theoretical algorithms for high-impact societal applications in image/video understanding such as image retrieval, image annotation, and human activity analysis. He is also interested in how to build and productionize machine learning applications with distributed algorithms on Big Data platforms.
