Jiyang Dong, PhD (INSEAD), is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Graduate School of Business at Nazarbayev University. His research explores how private firms navigate the interplay of political and market forces in China’s state-capitalist system, and how firms from emerging markets build global competitiveness through innovation. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of International Business Studies.
