Dr. Sagyn Omirbekov’s research focuses on multiscale fluid flow and transport in porous media, with applications in soil and groundwater remediation, enhanced oil recovery, and water treatment. His work integrates experiments, pore-scale visualization, Darcy-scale modeling, molecular simulations, and machine learning to study complex fluids such as polymers, foams, emulsions, colloidal gas aphrons, and micro/nanobubble systems.
