Professional Information

Saule Dochshanova earned her Bachelor’s degree at Kostanay Pedagogical University in English/French foreign languages. Her bachelor’s research was titled “Theatrical Methods in Teaching and Learning of Foreign Languages”. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Kazakhstan she continued her higher education abroad. Saule earned her Master’s degree in “French as a Foreign Language” studies (FLE, Master 2 Professionnel) at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia, France. Her research paper was based on the topic of “Application of the ICTS in French Language Learning in Kazakhstan” (“l’application des TICE dans l’apprentissage de la langue française au Kazakhstan”).   While earning her master’s degree she worked abroad as a pedagogical secretary for foreign students in the French Language Learning University Center (CUEF-Centre Universitaire d’Etudes Françaises) in the University of Perpignan Via Domitia. After earning her degree, she also taught Russian to francophones in Paris.

From August 2015-2018, she worked at an accredited French school in Astana (Charles de Gaulle – Miras) where she incorporated the skills she acquired abroad in teaching french language to non-francophone students of the French School.  She also transitioned into teaching French language from ab initio to high level within the International Diploma Program (IB-International Baccalaureate). She now teaches beginning level French in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Narazbayev University
