My research is focused on the neuroscience of learning and memory, effects of phytoconstituents in disease models, clinically relevant anatomical variations, medical education, and forensic anthropology.

Currently working as an Assistant professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Medicine, Nazarbayev University, Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. Since 2003 he has been teaching Human anatomy to medical and allied health students. Before joining NUSOM from March 2013- to July 2019, he was serving as an assistant professor of anatomy at, college of medicine, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, where an integrated problem-based curriculum has been developed in collaboration with Monash University, Australia. This was followed by 10 years of service [2003-2013] as a lecturer and Assistant professor at Mamata medical college, Khammam, India.
