Dr. Yanwei Wang is the Head of the ChME Transport Phenomena Lab, Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University. He is also the Head of the Computational Materials Science Lab, Center for Energy and Advanced Materials Science, National Laboratory Astana (NLA). He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2009 and has research experience both in academia and in industry. He is a senior member of RILEM, a member of the IUPAC-Subcommittee on Structure and Properties of Commercial Polymers, and a member of the Society of Rheology. He has authored/co-authored over 60 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and holds an H-index of 21.
