Personal profile
Dr. Yanwei Wang is an Associate Professor at the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering in the School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University. He also serves as the Head of the Computational Materials Science Lab at the Center for Energy and Advanced Materials Science, National Laboratory Astana (NLA). He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and has research experience both in academia and in industry. He is a senior member of RILEM, a member of the IUPAC-Subcommittee on Structure and Properties of Commercial Polymers, and a member of the Society of Rheology. His research interests include Computational Materials Science and Engineering, Molecular Simulations, Polymer Physics, and Chemical Engineering Transport Phenomena.
