Personal profile
Dr. Yanwei Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering, School of Engineering and Digital Sciences, Nazarbayev University. He also serves as Head of the Computational Materials Science Lab and Acting Director of the Center for Energy and Advanced Materials Science at the National Laboratory Astana (NLA). He received his Ph.D. and M.Sc. degrees from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and has research experience in both academia and industry. He is a Senior Member of RILEM, a member of the IUPAC Subcommittee on Structure and Properties of Commercial Polymers, and a member of the Society of Rheology. His research interests include computational materials science and engineering, molecular simulations, polymer physics, and transport phenomena in chemical engineering.
