Yerken Turganbayev is a Chief Administrative Officer at the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Business. He received a PhD in Economics from the Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen, UK) and a PhD in Mathematics from the Novosibirsk State University (Novosibirsk, Russia). His research interests lie in the application of a mathematical modeling approach to various problems in Regional Economics, Environment Protection and Information Systems. Prior to joining the NUGSB in August 2016, Yerken Turganbayev was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and a Director of the Institute of Post-University Training and New Educational Technologies of the East Kazakhstan State Technical University.
