Dr. Zauresh Atakhanova specializes in analysis of sustainable development, resources policy, mineral and energy economics and finance.  She has conducted research on Kazakhstan’s and international markets for coal, electricity, metals, and petroleum industries.  Specific interests include risk measurement, pricing, support services, regulation, skill development, and social impact of resource industries.
