Project Description

This proposal aims to incorporate a diammonium aggregation-induced enhanced emission (AIEE) luminogen into DJ quasi-2D perovskites (PVSK). AIEE luminogens emit strongly when aggregated, which can enhance the brightness and stability of the PVSK system. The integration is expected to enhance linear and nonlinear absorption by hybridizing states between the PVSK layers and the organic π-electron system. Additionally, the system is designed to improve exciton lifetime and resist moisture, preventing PVSK layer disassembly. The ultimate goal is to establish a programmable hybrid DJ 2D AIEE-PVSK system with versatile optical and optoelectronic properties.
