Project Description
A joint ethnographic and archaeological survey of the Bukhtarma river basin in East Kazakh. The ethnographic aspect is focused on documenting subsistence (especially pastoral and apiary) practices in the Bukhtarma basin and local perceptions of the impact of climate change and pollution on those activities.
