Project Description
The goal of this intended research program is to design, develop and test a nanosatellite for Earth Remote Sensing (ERS) and university research besides providing trained professionals and a training base for the space industry of Kazakhstan. Following objectives have been identified in order to systematically carry out this proposed research:
1. Design, development and testing of a nanosatellite for Earth remote sensing (ERS);
2. Development of a ground control system for a remote sensing nanosatellite;
3. Development of a ground-based target complex for receiving data from a remote sensing nanosatellite.
4. Establishment of a space research group (involving students and professors) to provide scientific, educational and technical base for personnel training in order to augment the space industry of Kazakhstan.
