Project Description
This project is aiming
- to develop an innovative method that will solve a problem of water scarcity in Republic of Kazakhstan
- to propose technology that will enhance water reclamation processes, which will drive down the cost of reclaimed water and facilitate improved environmental clean-up of contaminated water supplies around the world.
The scientific merit of this project facilitates new techniques as applied to membrane technologies, which offers significant commercialization opportunities. Objectives of this work include: development of track etch membrane bioreactor process; application of the novel technology to different wastewaters; optimization of the process and development a pretreatment.
