Enhancement of the Initial Coulombic Efficiency of the Biowaste-derived Hard Carbon as an Anode for Sodium-ion Batteries

    Project: Government

    Project Details

    Project Description

Our team will enhance the Initial Coulombic Efficiency (ICE) performance of biowaste-derived hard carbon (HC) via: 1) surface area and porosity modification; 2) pre-sodiation of the HC anodes; 3) post-treatment by H2-reduction of HC materials. State-of-art techniques with foreign collaborations will be used to characterize the as-synthesized materials.
