Project Description
The study is about the nature, forms and levels of challenges graduate students face in academic reading and writing in English medium universities in Kazakhstan and the affects of these challenges on students’ self-esteem, self-efficacy and wellbeing. This collaborative study will be conducted by researchers from both internal and external collaborative partner institutions including the Graduate School of Education (NU), School of Sciences and Humanities (NU), College of Humanities and Education (KIMEP University), and Faculty of Education and Humanities (Suleyman Demirel University). All three universities offer graduate and post-graduate programs in the English language and have strong research profiles in the region.
