Project Description

The purpose of the project is to study the peculiarities of national eco-linguistic behavior as presented in Kazakh paremiological (proverb) units.
It is aimed at defining how different ethnos living in a certain surrounding developed its own adaptive ways and strategies to deal with nature and society and what eco-ethical principles and norms are formed by the ethnos during many generations as social survival programs in the biosphere. We will evaluate how these programs have influenced the language, particularly, in the forms of language stereotypes in proverbial units.
