Project Description

The goal of the current study is to identify and validate the potential protein biomarkers of glomerular and diabetic kidney diseases by assessment of urine proteomics using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (HPLC-MS) and Surface-Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) Spectroscopy. This is the second stage of a previously conducted study, where “candidate biomarkers” have been identified in a urinary proteomic study using HPLC-MS and SERS in glomerular kidney disease population.
