Project Description

The main purpose of this project is to create ML-driven mechanical metamaterials for potential applications in aerospace and biomedical industries, utilizing AM technologies. Upon successful completion, we expect to apply newly ML-assisted metamaterial designs for aerospace-grade parts and biomedical implants printed by metal Laser Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF). Additionally, our objective includes the integration of the developed ML model with commercial software to facilitate the generation of metamaterials.
