Project Description
•International collaboration between Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education and University of Cambridge, School students’ wellbeing and engagement in Kazakhstan.
•Integrated diverse disciplinary perspectives to conduct a multi-phase mixed method study
•Developed a trilingual culturally relevant wellbeing survey.
•Analyzed interview data to address systemic educational/societal issues.
•Led the creation of focus groups for school students and teachers, pioneering an arts-based data collection to enhance an understanding of students’ conceptualization of wellbeing and schooling.
•Key outcomes included multiple international presentations and a first-authored article.
