Faculty Development Competitive Research Grant Program 2019-2021
Project Description
This project will investigate innovative and facile routes for synthesis of high purity and size controlled production of supported noble metals (Ag, Au, Pd, Pt, Ru, Rh, Os, Ir) nanoparticles and their activity towards heterogeneous non-catalytic and catalytic reactions for water treatment. The priority pollutants/toxins are mercury, arsenic, iodide, phosphates, phenols and pharmaceuticals.
