Grant Program
Faculty-development competitive research grants program for 2021-2022 (Covid-19 project)
Project Description
During the "emergency online teaching" period between April 6-22, 2020, and the period of grading, professors and students faced many unforeseen difficulties. Therefore, this project focuses on identifying current problems in online learning of the students and mentoring the faculty for online course design, online teaching methods as well as developing online content and assessments. The project aims to discover the challenges of students, faculty of KazLT, and administrators and improve the quality of digital content and online learning methodologies. By the end of this project, the concept of "student-centered online learning" at the Department of KazLT will be clarified and developed following new global trends while having a "profile" of students of KazLT as online learners and faculty as online instructors in terms of learning outcomes and assessments and share these experiences with the other universities.
