Project Description

The project will develop and demonstrate a technology and prototype of a novel fast response telescope featuring a 3-DOF flat mirror mechanism on top of a fixed vertical telescope, allowing for the first time the capability to rapidly target any point in the sky with fast reaction (time to first measurement 10s) with massive fixed instrumentation, enabling the comprehensive observation of transient objects such as Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs) over a wide range of wavelengths.
