Project Description
The objective of this research project is to study the effect of the health care reform in Kazakhstan on population and health workers. The research project will aim two research directions, one focusing the effects of the health care reform on the population of Kazakhstan, in particular, the changes in the health services utilization rates and out-of-pocket expenditures of health services. The second research direction will study the determinants of the well-being of healthcare workers, and the effect on well-being, if any, of the transformation of the healthcare system in Kazakhstan.
