Project Description
The project aims at constructing a framework for natural hydrogen exploration based on integrating
geological, geophysical and geochemical data. This framework will be applied to unlock the natural
hydrogen generation potential in Kazakhstan. These expected outcomes from the project will put
Kazakhstan on the track as one of the countries which owns a full-evaluation for its resources of natural
hydrogen. This will be of great interest from the industrial sector as most of the petroleum companies
are currently very interested in natural hydrogen as one of the most promising geo-energy resources.
