Project Description

Our proposal aims in employing the IsoGeometric Analysis (IGA) approach to develop IGA-enabled Boundary Element Methods (IGABEM) to tackle the analysis of electromagnetic wave interactions with metasurfaces comprising individual and/or clusters of appropriately aligned Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs). Our analysis results will be experimentally verified by growing corresponding CNT layouts and measuring the actual interactions. The research is targeting optical wireless communications in nanodevices, including photonic computer systems.
