Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the formation of a global discourse, understood as a form of communicative interaction, formed as a result of the influence of various extra-linguistic and psycho-cognitive factors on a given speech flow in order to avoid communicative failures, acculturation to world standards of communication in the context of a dialogue of cultures. This type of discourse is a consequence of the linguistic and cultural expansion of the languages of lingua franca and Western European cultures. Its appearance is due to the desire of communicants to reach a mutual understanding of the conditions of increasingly intensifying intercultural conflicts, psychological and cognitive dissonance in the process of interaction between people. Achievement of agreement and understanding is carried out under the conditions of regulating communicative interaction using the communication postulates developed based on the principles of cooperation, politeness and economy of language means in the works of English scholars and accepted in English society. The use of these communication postulates helps to eliminate the facts of interruption of communication due to the interlocutor of communicative pressure, manipulative influence, the creation of psychological and cognitive dissonance during intercultural communication.
In addition, this leads to a misunderstanding of each other by communicators, contributes to the emergence of intercultural conflicts. In this regard, the study of the formation of a global discourse that promotes acculturation of multilingual and multicultural communicants in the process of assimilating models of cultures and another language, as well as mastering the mechanism of attraction to a different culture (conducting empathy and sympathy),
achieving cultural and linguistic integration as a result of mastering the general socio-cultural experience and thesaurus - the actual problem of cultures. The article builds a model of global discourse; identified discursive cooperation strategies: politeness, relevance, and economy of language mean; proposed strategies for intercultural discourse that meet the needs of intercultural communication and contribute to the elimination of its conflicts, which will ensure mutual understanding of communicants.
