1.3-μm quantum dot monolithic multi-section passively mode-locked lasers

Abstract

Novel multi-section quantum dot mode-locked lasers are reported. The multi-section configurations significantly increase the peak pulsed power (> 45%) and improve the pulse width (>35%) of the devices.
