Abstract
A cloaking device comprised of a metallic cloaked region and a radially inhomogeneous cladding, obeying to a power law, is analyzed. Semi-analytical approximations are performed and simple formulas of the coating's optimal material profile are derived, based on the structure's miniature size. The variations of the coating's permittivities with respect to the operating frequency and the physical dimensions of the structure are shown and discussed.
