A stress correction algorithm for a simple hypoplastic model

Abstract

In this paper, we consider the numerical integration of a simple hypoplastic constitutive equation. The stress drift away from the failure surface is corrected with a predictor-corrector scheme, which is verified by a boundary value problems, i.e., failure process of a homogeneous slope.
