Abstract

In this concluding chapter we draw some general observations about the current trends concerning gender equality within Central Asian education systems, reflect on the current state of research on the topic, as well as identify future directions for scholarship, policy, and practice. Our aim is to pave the way for future policymaking and research, identifying directions for strategic action and transformative change.
