N2 - The article is devoted to the recognition and identification of a person in real time from a video stream. The methodology for creating a software system and the results of its testing are described. To build a software system for real-time face recognition, various Open Face modules and tools of the Open CV library were used. The HOG method was used to detect a human face. Using the image coding method, 128 face measurements were obtained. A convolutional neural network is used to identify human faces using the SVM linear classifier algorithm.
