N2 - The use of information systems in various fields shows that there are situations in which there were failures due to defects in the software which in turn led to great damage. This is especially, dangerous for critical systems (satellite management, complex administrative systems, banking systems, technological and information systems, etc.). This study is devoted to ensuring the reliability of information systems. An approach based on risk assessment and neutralization is used to increase the reliability of information systems. This approach allows for early risk assessment of the software development process and determines the most effective mitigation strategies.
