Research output: Working paper

Abstract

We analyze 6,500 trades placed by 160 students in a semester-long currency trading game, administered through individual demo accounts of an online currency broker. We find strong disposition effect in almost every group. The effect seems to be stronger among females. There is no indication that the effect attenuates with trader’s experience or education.
