Abstract
It is shown that in bean chlorplasts isolated in a salt-free medium a five-component EPR signal II is obtained and on isolation or washing of the chloroplasts in a salt medium a four-component EPR II signal. The simple addition of 5-14 mm of mono- or bivalent salts to the chloroplasts isolated in salt-free buffer did not lead to the transition of the EPR II signal from one to the other form.
