Efficient evaluation of the Green's function for a bended coplanar waveguide

Abstract

The Green's function of a bent waveguide is computed in the case that the singular source lies in the region of the formulated corner. The image theory and the mode matching technique have been employed to evaluate the Green's function with a separate singular term which can be handled in a well-known manner. Convergence tests for the incorporated integrals and series have been performed and the validity of the boundary condition is checked for every single example. The variations of the near field and the propagation power could lead to useful discussions and conclusions.
