Emission of light charged particles from reaction of 3He ions of energy OF 50.0 MEV with 59CO nucleus

Abstract

This paper presents experimental double-differential and integral cross sections of reactions (3He,xp), (3He,xd) and (3He,xα) on the 59Co nucleus. The experiment with 3He ions, accelerated to the energy of 50.0 MeV, was performed at the isochronous cyclotron of the Institute of Nuclear Physics (Almaty, Kazakhstan). Theoretical analysis of the experimental results has been carried out in terms of a modified version of the exciton model. A satisfactory agreement between experimental and calculated values has been achieved.
