Abstract

We propose to amplify the photon-energy of attosecond pulses to keV through wavemixing with a mid-IR field. The generated x-ray emission exhibits intrigue characteristics, including attosecond square pulses, spatio-spectral Airy beams and focusing attosecond pulses.
