We study the dynamics of double sine-Gordon kinks in the presence of two point-like impurities. A simple collective coordinate approach is used to reduce the initial infinite-dimensional-system to two coupled non-linear o.d.e.'s for the location and velocity of the kinks. It is shown that the location of the invariant manifolds depends on the strengths and the distance between the two impurities. Thus, different regions of escape or trapping are defined in phase space. These results are found to be in good agreement with numerical experiments.
