Abstract

Single crystals of LiGaS2, LiGaSe2 (both wurtzite-type structure) and LiGaTe2 (chalcopyrite lattice) were grown and characterized (transparency, index of refraction and nonlinearity) for nonlinear optical applications in the mid-IR.
