Localization of light in Bessel photonic lattices

Abstract

We report on the experimental observation of nonlinear localization of light in azimuthally modulated Bessel photonic lattices. These lattices are optically induced in a photorefractive crystal and resemble multiple-core highly nonlinear micro-structures fibers.
