Luminescence spectra of active media of lasers on visible and near infrared transitions of inert gases under ion beam excitation

Abstract

Measured luminescence spectra of inert gases and their binary mixtures at heavy ion beam excitation from DC-60 accelerator. Spectra measured in the range of 300-975 nm; the gas spectra is dominated by lines of p-s and d-p atomic transitions, N2, N2 + bands, in neon also line of oxygen atom, in krypton the band of KrO excimer molecule were also observed. Conclusions have been made on level population mechanisms in lasers on d-p transitions of inert gas atoms, 3p-3s-neon transitions.
