Modulation response of an injection-locked 1550 nm quantum dash semiconductor laser

Abstract

The increase in modulation bandwidth of an injection-locked quantum dash laser is examined as a function of injected power and detuning. Bandwidth enhancement up to a factor of 3 is observed.
