Abstract
Surface layers structure, obtained from Cr-Ni-B4C-Si powder by laser alloying has been studied. The concentration of alloying elements under laser alloying of U10 type steel has been shown to reach 15-16 % in the layer of 700-800 μm. The overall concentration of allying elements is proportional inversely to the thickness of the layers and directly proportional to parameter (dv)00.4÷P, where P, d and v are power, diameter and moving velocity of laser beam. Phase composition, morphology, microhardness of alloyed layers are not homogeneous along the melt depth and dependent on laser treatment regime.
