On eigenvalue problems of the one-speed neutron transport equation for isotropic scattering

Abstract

In this paper, we consider eigenvalue problems of the one-speed neutron transport equation with isotropic scattering in a steady state and prove the Rayleigh-Faber-Krahn type inequality for the first eigenvalue.
